  • How often is pool service needed?

For optimal pool maintenance, weekly service is typically recommended. However, the frequency may vary depending on factors such as pool usage, climate conditions, and individual preferences.
  • What services are included in your standard pool service?

Our standard pool service typically encompasses skimming the surface, vacuuming the pool floor, testing and adjusting chemical levels (including pH, chlorine, and alkalinity), and cleaning the filtration system.
  • What about pool repairs and other services?

Our service offerings extend beyond routine maintenance. We also provide repair services for pool equipment such as pumps and heaters, as well as specialized services including seasonal pool openings and closings, and algae removal treatments.
  • Why is water balance important for my pool?

Maintaining proper water balance is essential for protecting the pool's surface and equipment from damage. It also ensures a comfortable and safe swimming environment for users.
  • What are the key chemicals to test?

We routinely test and adjust pH and chlorine levels. Additional tests for total alkalinity and calcium hardness are conducted less frequently, but are also sometimes needed for overall water balance.
  • How often should pool water be tested?

During peak swimming season, it's advisable to test the water chemistry at least 1-2 times per week.
  • What is a pool opening/closing?

A pool opening involves preparing the pool for use in the swimming season. Conversely, a pool closing is the process of winterizing the pool to protect it during the off-season.
  • Should I drain my pool?

Annual pool draining is not recommended. Keeping water in the pool during winter helps prevent freeze damage, and using a pool cover provides added protection and helps manage debris.
  • What are the benefits of professional pool service?

Professional pool services offer several advantages, including time savings, expert knowledge of water chemistry, and access to specialized equipment. This ensures proper pool maintenance without the need for personal handling of chemicals.
